Day 1; Arrival
Our guide will pick you from the airport on arrival. Depending on the time of your flight, you will head to Entebbe. You will check into the lodge and relax for the evening at Karibu Guest House. Meals: Bed & breakfast
Day 2; Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park.
On the second day of your 6 Days Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife Safari, you will have an early start as your head towards Queen Elizabeth national park. We will make a stop at the Equator. Here, you will have breakfast, take photos at the equator and have some experiments to show the different hemispheres. You will proceed to Queen Elizabeth and check into your lodge on arrival. You will get to relax after lunch.
Later in the evening, you will venture out for an evening boat cruise. This boat cruise is relaxing, give you the chance to enjoy the wildlife with the wind in your hair. You will get to see wildlife like elephants, crocodiles, hippos, buffalo and plenty of bird species. This boat cruise lasts for 2 hours. We will return to the lodge for the evening at Twin Lakes Safari Lodge. Meals: Full board
Day 3; Game drive and transfer to Bwindi.
After an early breakfast, we will head out for an early game drive. On this game drive, we hope to see animals like lions, leopards, elephants, kobs, buffalo, hyenas, hippos and many more. This drive will last up to 4 hours. After the game drive, we will return to the lodge for an early lunch. We will depart for Bwindi national park through the Ishasha sector. Upon arrival, we will check into our lodge and relax for the evening at Agandi Lodge. Meals: Full board
Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Experience
On this day, we will get to experience the amazing gorillas in their natural habitat. After a briefing at the park headquarters, we will head out into the forest in search of the gorillas. With guides and trackers, we will locate the gorilla families. We will get to watch these primates for an hour. We will see them feed, play with their young and go about their day. After the trekking, we will return to the lodge for the afternoon. We will enjoy the view and the sound of the forest for the afternoon and evening at Agandi Lodge. Meals: Full board
Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.
We will have a lazy breakfast and check out of the lodge. We will head towards Lake Mburo national park. Here, we will check into our lodge and relax for the evening. This park offers a unique wildlife experience. Wooded, Lake Mburo offers amazing and unique safaris. We will check into the lodge and enjoy the wilderness for the evening at Arcadia Lodge. Meals: Full board
Day 6: Nature walk and transfer to Kampala.
We will have an early start as we head out into the park for a walking safari. With an armed ranger, we will walk alongside amazing wildlife like giraffes, zebras, impala, giraffe, warthogs and many more. This walk talks up to an hour. We will then check out of the hotel and proceed to Kampala. Depending on the time of your flight, you can go shopping for souvenirs. The guide will drop you off at the airport in time for your flight.
That will mark the end of your 6 day Uganda Gorilla and wildlife Safari.
